Technology Assignment 1: Tools to help with writing: Graphic Organizers.
Create a digital graphic organizer using one of the tools listed below. Option 1: Showcase the technology tools you have used as a part of this RITTI online course, OR Option 2: Create a digital graphic organizer connected to your unit of study. Upload the finished product to your personal website.

Holt Graphic Organizers: a collection of PDF documents you can use. If you use one of these graphic organizers, print and complete the document. Take a picture with your document camera (IPEVO) and upload the image to your website.

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. Tagul: Tagul clouds are designed to be used on blogs, web pages or any kind of sites as a replacement of ordinary tag clouds. Tagul is a web service that enables you to create gorgeous tag clouds. Each tag in Tagul cloud is linked with an URL and is “clickable” that enables visitors to use it for navigation. WordSift helps anyone easily sift through texts -- just cut and paste any text into WordSift and you can engage in a verbal quick-capture! The program helps to quickly identify important words that appear in the text, with the ability to mark and sort different lists of words important to educators. WordSift has also been integrated with Visual Thesaurus and Google image and video search. With just a click on any word in the Tag Cloud, the program displays instances of sentences in which that word is used in the text.
